Summery Colours
A perfect combination of the two, rustic and elegant, is what makes this bouquet so special. The addition of the langusa seed brings in a slight texture, a pleasant surprise and the cactus flower enhances the entire look. I enjoy using green and yellow cymbidium for the color combination in relation to a summery note....it's truly wonderful.

Hello, Once again...
I have to pop in, if just for a second, to say that the blog is not being abandoned! I promise! I also want to say “hi” to any new visitors that may be stopping by. It’s been a bustling time for us, and we are so grateful for all of the new visitors, orders, and encouraging comments and emails. Thank you so, very much! Our main goal is to stay as creative and personal as possible, because that’s how we roll (for a good 9 years already). There’s no factory, no giant warehouse; just a handful of people working hard and searching diligently to find the most unique and magical touch....I’m very excited for the future of this little company, there’s still so much to do and also so much to be thankful for. Thank you again, for being here and coming along for the ride!

The all-white dessert table included coconut white chocolate nuggets, and dusted truffles, marshmellows etc. It is so lovely the guests were so careful not to "destroy" it while getting their helpings of the desserts..... Everyone was in absolute awe of the dessert table and it was definitely the ‘wow factor’ of the party! ..... Lovely

Absolutely Peonies
Peonies are my absolute favorite flower. They smell as gorgeous as they look and as all good things must come to an end, they have a torturously short season. For this reason, I make sure to have a constant supply of fresh bunches at home for as long as possible. They always make a room feel just a little bit more special!..... absolutely stunning.

Milk & Honey
Last night Karen told me that she wanted a white theme birthday bash for Jill... Oh, I just love to express my interpretation of a baby's birthday party in White theme and share with her... When it's in "White", don't do the White too seriously. Can be Grey White, Blue White, Green White or Butter White ie Milk & Honey -- Paired with cream and a few touches of the palest grey and some dots of yellow which is playful and cheerful, rather than overly dramatic.
Also a variety of fun patterns adds to the playfulness of this look.
Mood: whimsical, bright
Palette: Apricot, cream, touches of pale grey

Tea

Tea is a wonderful thing.....
The Japanese "Way of Tea" describes the first sip as consolation, the second as ectasy and the third, contentment. I think a good strong cup of Japanese Green tea with a simple "digestive biscuit" is a small experience of heaven on earth. I'd love to drink mine under those lovely roses with the Japanese lanterns.

A little something

I am so in love with flowers, especially the scented kind.
The softness of jasmine, the delicate line of a rose, the simplicity of a frangipani or the gentle contours of the freesia all bring a smile to face every time I lay my eyes (or nose) upon them.
Take me to a nursery and I'm like a kid in a candy store and I just love this pic - they're exactly as I'd like my heaven to be... It's such a beautiful space - the kind that fills the heart - simple, relaxed and non-pretentious. Just beautiful, without trying too hard..... Divine.

Flowers in a used tin
I hold dear and close the big things in life like love, family, friendships, and relationships. I also believe they are all enhanced by the little things. The little things in life...Those little trickets or thoughts that we hang onto. be it a shoe box in your closet or the attic.... Special paper and photographs in your desk drawers. A dish or an ingredient that you are cherishing to the last crumb.
A lot of the little things that bring a smile on my face.... you can guess, often related to food, flowers and little odds & ends.
Simply a task of slicing lemons almost always makes me want to drop a couple of slices in a hot cup of tea.... brings me a relief in a hectic day...
Little things like that make me vibrate, keep me alive, keep me going......

A Little Luxuries
Beautiful floral arrangemnets, a silk-covered chaise, hand painted wall murals in the hotel lobby. . or simply time, the best luxury of all . . . this was supposed to be my last week's blog-write about my Taiwan trip...It was a most "foodful" trip as we ventured out to the land of Taiwan. You just cannot stop eating as one start walking down the food-filled aisle. Food that is different from what we have here in Singapore, just so interesting you got to try.. but, I am back here to earth now and another week had come and gone . . . hope you had a beautiful time and found a few moments to enjoy little luxuries amidst the gloomy sky of recessions..... . A little luxuries of good painting and smelling the sweet blossoms along the way go a long way.....
